Hi! First of all, thank you so much ♡ (and YES I made this account specifically to write this letter) I’m so excited to participate, and I know I’ll love whatever you write for me!
General likes: gen, hurt/comfort, whump, physical closeness, unexpected vulnerability (physical or emotional!), people being carried, post-episode aftercare, quiet moments, casefic, adventures, car rides, non-sexual tenderness, slice of life, trauma recovery or recovery of any kind
General dislikes: porn/pwp, torture, hurt with no comfort, bleak endings, surreality / it was all a dream, fate/soulmates, romantic cliches, AUs ("what-if" AUs are ok! just not a completely different situation)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
I’m sure you can tell from my choice of pairings, but I really just love Kira a lot... Anything with her as the main character is good for me. I’m not married to any particular combination of characters, but I really enjoy early series fic about her adjusting to life on DS9, especially dealing with her PTSD/past trauma. I’d also love to read post-series fic with her and Jake (or Ezri!) figuring themselves out, I found the end of the show unsatisfying but I love that last shot of her with her arm around Jake (and the scene with them in The Visitor as well). I’d like to see a happier ending for both of them! I also put Kira/Damar because I like their vibes at the end of the show and have enjoyed reading fic of them; it's harder for me to think of situations but anything taking place in S7 or an alternate ending where he makes it would be fun!
Stargate: SG-1
I do love Sam/Jack a lot, especially post-series fic or fic where they are forced into proximity and have to pretend they are totally fine and not affected at all. OR fic where someone has to be driven home!!! It can be either one of them, I am not picky about that, but I love anything where someone needs to be taken care of and resists it. But once again gen fic is completely fine and I will love and cherish it so much. Any kind of team fic where they have to escape a Situation would be so good… especially if they all get beat up a little ☻ I love fic where the gang’s all there, especially if Hammond and Janet make appearances, too!!
The X-Files
Here I would really prefer gen fic, but if possible leaning into the weird tenderness of their relationship without it being explicitly romantic. Any kind of post-episode cleaning up after each other, or a little casefic would be so lovely! I really love S4 and its pervasive sadness, especially Zero Sum/Elegy/Demons, so anything set around then would be good… But I also genuinely love fic that’s just them tired and driving home in the car after a shitty case, or staying side-by-side in a motel somewhere in America… Honestly I just want to read a little story about them!
